There's an App for that!

I finally got a good start on my 3 month supply thanks to my wonderful mom and all her help.

Our poor empty fridge
. Unfortunately you can't live off of condiments.

Shopping with Emery is always a blast.

On to the unloading...again.

A stocked cupboard

Messy but full and the disorder is in order to me.

The longest grocery receipt in my life. I bought a lot of firsts: honey, evaporated milk, cream of celery soup etc.

My mom's line for the day "I have a coupon for that!" She must have said that 80 times, which of course, I am not complaining about. So here is the low down.

263.04- Subtotal price of groceries
252.80- Price I ended up paying after tax
210- Minutes spent shopping (including loading, unloading, loading, unloading, unloading, and unloading the bags).
190- Items purchased
36- Amount of inches the receipt was
14.19- Money saved with coupons before tax
13- Coupons used
3- Carts filled
3- Months supply of food
2- Very happy adults who get to use and build upon this food.
1- Very grateful daughter.
Priceless- The knowledge I gained
Thank you so much mom for helping me get our food 3 month supply started and showing me the ropes. I really am so grateful.

Haha I sat here and laughed as I read your post, sounds just like me! & my fridge is lookin just like that too.. I don't get it, I go grocery shopping and then 2 days later it's like there's nothing to eat. I just don't know what to get when I go to the store ha.
