Here's A Post For You

So, Here's the story.....

David and I had just gotten out of the movie 'Taken (great movie by the way)' and drove to Wal-Mart to pick up some super bowl snacks. I was driving and pulled into a parking spot and turned off the car. As I was doing that, some young, white, and obviously drunk guy walked into the bumper of my car and shouted “don’t hit me with your car!” As if that really happened? Please. Anyway, David and I got out of the car and headed to the store. As we were walking that guy continued to shout rude and obnoxious things to David and I that were just completely out of line and ridiculous. We got inside the store. We started looking at $1 two liter soda (what a great deal right?) and these 2 ladies who were on a cell phone, with their mom, who was sitting in her car in the parking lot, asked us if we drove a silver car. David immediately went outside. Once I got out there I instantly knew something was wrong. David was shouting. When I got over to the car, I saw the problem. That guy threw a grocery cart into my windshield. Yes! You read that right! He actually picked up a cart and chucked it at my car.

A long story short, there were plenty of witnesses, but no one got a license plate number. Wal-Mart will be looking at their security tapes, a cop wrote up a report, and my insurance is sending out someone to investigate.

I hope we find the guy so he can pay for the damage, and more importantly I hope no one else got hurt tonight from him being drunk and driving and being out of control. I didn’t know stuff like this actually happened. It’s sad really.

Here are some pictures with some of the damage. The pictures honestly dont do it justice as to how bad it really is.

Captain oh Captain!!

David wrote this post. lets just all understand that.

The once so calm and innocent Captain is slowly growing older and (he thinks) wiser. It is crazy how fast he has grown and how much his colors have changed.

We have sure enjoyed his company and the fun he has brought into our lives. He is always so curious about everything, and thinks anything that has a plastic wrapping is some sort of food.

Although he has become a lot more hyper and energetic he still has a very calm and lazy side to him. His latest favorite spot is the couch. He will sprawl out in the strangest positions and just lounge for hours. For some reason he especially likes to hang his head off the edge of the couch.

We have been working hard to teach him some entertaining tricks. He picks up on things very quickly, it really amazes me. Here is a link to a video on youtube displaying his arsenal of tricks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCqYyb1Qdrc.
